I broke them both in on Stihl HD synthic oil at 32 to 1 using a VVRC 19x8 prop. After break-in I installed a VVRC 20x8 prop and did thrust test on both. That being said, the DA is manufactured with better tolerances, materials and has better QC. The end result is an engine that runs smoother, may develop more power and will last longer.
