Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) I have a HP OfficeJet 3830 printer that replies to the following default community string "public" but cannot see where I can either change the community string name, or disable SNMP all together. WebOct 30, 2024 · You can go to driver properties and go to ports tab. Click Configure Port button, and uncheck SNMP enabled. Now Windows will always think the printer in online and ready to receive a print. A good printer should wake up from sleep mode, if Windows sends a print job. Good Luck. Either one appears to resolve the issue.
