The jobs that had the most significant increase for women were clerks, typists, operators, and manufacturing. WebFlappers did more than just party, they also held steady jobs. some as clerks, others as phone operators but mostly they worked at department stores where they were really needed because they were able to relate to the customers very well seeing as both worker and customer were women.
