I tried permatex 2, teflon tape with permatex 2, Oatey great white, Oatey great white with teflon tape, teflon tape.....lots of teflon tape. :grrrr: The only thing that has worked (so far ... And, to my surprise, when I removed my pricey old top name brand showerhead, I discovered that it, too, was made of plastic. So, maybe this one will last longer than I thought.
