SLURM is free to use, actively developed, and unifies some tasks previously distributed to discreet HPC software stacks. WebbSLURM is an open-source resource manager and job scheduler that is rapidly emerging as the modern industry standrd for HPC schedulers. SLURM is in use by by many of the world’s supercomputers and computer clusters, including Sherlock (Stanford Research Computing - SRCC) and Stanford Earth’s Mazama HPC.
